New designs...

I have been trying out some new cute signs with driftwood the last few weeks. Really like the 'sweet dreams' series. I can just imagine these in a childs bedroom.

Next up, I am going to create coat hooks using some beautiful vintage silver spoons I bought from an antique shop in Chester last week.

My veg patch is really coming along now!!

I planted onions, cabbage and broccoli. They are growing so fast I can't keep up. Lovely watching them grow from the studio!

Super Duper Fair 2010

Last weekend I had a stall at the Super Super Fair in Stanley Park. It was very typical rainy July weather but it didn't stop people from coming down to buy handmade things. I sold lots of mirrors and little signs. Very pleased with the day and even had an article in the Gazette through it!!

Drift Away Interiors at the fair!

It was a beautiful day and the fair looked so charming in the only green space in the centre of Blackpool. A remarkable number of people perused the stalls, played snakes and ladders and created a handmade musical instrument in the glorious sunshine on the last day of May. The green (in front of the gallery) was adorned with colourful bunting and accompanied by the sweet, rhythmical sounds of John Morrow. I was overwhelmed by the lovely comments about my new collection. Thank you to all those who came and purchased from the handmade fair.
